before you die...

tonight, juan and i went to listen to the yale philarmonic. the featuring piece of the gala was beethoven's 9th symphony. the concert was free and we got there early, so we got great seats in the orchestra section. plus, the interpretation was amazing, from start to finish (perhaps the choir could be improved)... and to seal the deal, this guy in the choir was ridiculously ecstatic about just being there, singing beethoven's 9th at yale's woosley hall, almost jumping with every note he sang off the top of his lungs.

listening to beethoven's 9th live was one of the things in my checklist that i had to do before i die. well, it's been checked. and for the record, i strongly suggest you put it on your list too.
